The 2010 Reunion, hosted by Sonjy "Bambi" Allen, was held in Concord, N.C., from Friday, July 9 to Monday, July 12, 2010 at The Embassy Suites Resort & Spa. Concord is a suburb of Charlotte, N.C., with many sites of interest in and around Concord, and nearby Charlotte.


Bambi was able to arrange a special price of $119.00 per night which included, in addition to spacious and comfortable, well-appointed rooms, a full "all you care to eat" breakfast daily and Hors d'oeuvres and a drink each evening. There was free transportation to and from the many Malls and Outlets, all of which were convenient to the hotel. There was also tons of favorite eating places within  a few minutes drive. There were games, movies, prizes, and awards as well as tributes to the young members who are exceling in academics and other pursuits. A highlight of the of the event was the awarding of a Lifetime Achievement Award to Willie and Odessa McClurkin.   Family members attended Church service at Univerity City Church, where Pastor Michael Stevens extended a warm welcome and acknowledgment to the McFamily, who were present in a section reserved for the family.

It was the sentiment of those who attended that McFamily 2010 was a huge success, and kudos go out to Bambi and her Team.
